PROJECT COORDINATOR

Location: Naperville, IL.
Job Description: National commercial painting company has an immediate need for a self- motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual for a Partner Development Manager position.   This person reports to our President and will be responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and assisting our field partners.

The successful candidate must be:

  • Able to interact with corporate and field staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure;
  • Resourceful and efficient with high level of professionalism and confidentiality;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Able to anticipate work flow, plan accordingly and handle several projects simultaneously;
  • Attentive to detail, well-organized and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with our company’s sales and project management departments on a daily basis in order to help define bids, pre-job surveys, scopes of work, customer specs, and project estimates;
  • Conducting field and quality control visits to project sites;
  • Recruiting and training new partners throughout the U.S.;
  • Product testing and continual education on new product applications;
  • Managing national crews by mentoring and mapping individual crew yearly production.

Skills required for this position are:

  • Above average proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Prior management and painting experience preferred.
  • At least two years of college course work in a business-related discipline.
